Before forwarding virus alert e-mails, double-check the legitimacy of the message with one of the following resources. Most of these sites have search tools that allow you to determine if the threat is an actual virus or merely a hoax. They also frequently offer advice on how to disinfect your machine in the unfortunate event that you actually DO have a virus.
