Introduction To Networking Lab: Your Own Metaphor For The Internet

Objectives

• Take information learned from metaphor in lesson to make your own metaphor for the Internet.

What to do

After reading about what the Internet is and looking at the metaphor for the Internet in the lesson that looks at the Internet as a country, make your own metaphor for the Internet looking at the Internet as something other than a country. For example you could look at the Internet as a school, office, household, etc. The more creative the better. Make sure to include terms like LAN, ISP, connectivity, and other terms that you found in the metaphor in the lesson. Be sure to research any terms used in the lesson that you did not understand before using them in your own metaphor.
