Objectives

• Learn about a few different protocols from each layer of the TCP/IP model.

What to do

Now that you have learned about the different layers of the TCP/IP model it is important to learn about some popular protocols the reside on each of the different layers. First research the different protocols on each layer to find out which ones are used most often. Then pick 2 or 3 protocols from each layer and put together a presentation of what each of the protocols do and where they are used. There might be some helpful resources on Wikipedia to get this job done.
